Chondrus Crispus Gel

from $30.00

No sea moss in the world (even Caribbean moss) compares to Chondrus Crispus, also known as Irish Moss. This is because it grows in cold waters in the northern Atlantic, which allows it to grow more slowly on the rocks and therefore become more nutrient dense.

Sea moss should be a staple in every vegan and plant eater’s diet because without meat you are likely to become deficient in Vitamin B12, which is essential for nerve and cognitive health. Not only is sea moss loaded with Vitamin B12, but it also contains Vitamin D, Iron, Iodine, Zinc, Calcium, Collagen, DHA, Folate, decongestant properties, and so much more. It is a natural appetite suppressant, cleanser of the respiratory tract, will help treat hypothyroidism, erectile dysfunction, anemia, acts as a natural prenatal supplement, and more.

Add your sea moss gel to your smoothies, dressings, any recipe, or eat it directly out of the jar.

Sea moss gel will last about 3-4 weeks after received. Immediately place in the refrigerator upon receipt and remove the cover to let the moss breathe.

We have a relationship with a marine biologist who harvests, sun dries, and ships the moss directly to us. This makes our chondrus crispus literally the best sea moss in the entire world.

True sea moss is not yellow, stringy, or clear. True Irish moss is called chondrus crispus, looks similar to purple kale, and only grows in the cool Atlantic waters along the coasts of Ireland and Maine.

Irish moss became famous because during Ireland’s potato famine they had no food, and only were able to eat the red algae that washed up on shore. They realized that this algae cured them of many diseases and restored their health which is how sea moss became famous across the globe. However, most sea moss is mislabeled as Irish moss even when it’s grown in the Caribbean. The true Irish moss only grows along the coasts of Ireland and Maine in the cool Atlantic waters.

Irish moss is packed with vitamins A,E,F,K, Iron, Potassium, Calcium, and Iodine. It has anti bacterial and anti viral properties, removes mucous and inflammation from throughout the body, helps heal the thyroid gland, helps to alkalize the blood, and is the most nutrient dense plant on the planet.

You can eat it raw, add it to smoothies, teas, or salad dressings, use it as a face mask, put it on hair and skin, and more.

It took us a long time to find the true chondrus crispus, but we finally have a deal with a marine biologist that operates in these cool Atlantic waters and are so happy to be able to share it with you.
